Everyone knows the importance of backing up important files on their computers, yet most people are negligent about this important task.

Systems Information Technology Caribbean (SITCA), an Information Technology services and solutions provider, has added an automatic online data back up to the list of services it offers.

sitca-managerSITCA Manager Kadesh Bailey said his company uses military-grade encryption to secure the information being stored and allows the user to retrieve the information from any location.

Bailey said his All Saints Road company is the only authorised dealer of the system in Antigua. He explained that it works by first installing a proprietary application on the user’s system that allows the individual to select which email, photos, music and or other documents they intend to back up and how often. Once this is done, the system will work automatically to secure the data.
